Job Description

A well known cosmetic manufacturer in the San Fernando Valley currently has an opening for an R&D Chemist. The chemist will be responsible for developing new products in coordination with customer feedback and the Marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Formulate from concept to finish
• Understand ingredients and their individual functions
• Meet regulatory requirements
• Interact with Marketing and customers to develop new formulas
• Handle scale-up issues
• Supervise pilot and production batches
• Stability testing required

Qualifications

• B.S. in a Science related field
• Formulation experience in a cosmetic industry
• GMP and GLP knowledge
• 3-5 years of R&D experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

$20.00 to $23.00 (Hourly)
