Tutor needed (Los Angeles)

Job Description

Alpine Tutoring provides the finest in home one to one tutoring to Orange County, San Diego, Riverside and LA County.. We have an immediate need for instructors who specializing in:

1) SAT Instruction

Looking for instructors who have experience teaching or tutoring the SAT, with positive results. Must have experience helping students build test taking strategies, vocabulary, writing critical thinking and mathematical skills. Experience providing instruction in all areas of the test, and/or experience with ACT and/or SAT subject tests a plus.

2) Math and/or Science:

Looking for instructors experienced in teaching or tutoring advanced Math and Science subjects including: Calculus, Trig, Chemistry, and/or Physics. Minimum of 3 years experience teaching students Math or Science required. Degree in a Math or Science related field and/or MA strongly preferred .

3) Special Education Instructors needed:

Looking for instructors experienced in working with students with AD/HD, processing disorders, dyslexia, speech delay, Autism, and many other learning challenges . Minimum of 3 years experience teaching students with learning differences required. Special Education or RSP teaching credential and/or MA strongly preferred .

BA and minimum of 3 years of teaching or tutoring experience required, pay based on experience. Must be available to tutor students after school hours.
